VMware Administrator (Powerflex)
Job Summary
Job Description
The VMware Administrator (Powerflex) will be responsible for managing and maintaining software-defined storage technology, with a strong focus on Powerflex architecture (Rack & Appliance). The role requires expertise in implementing and upgrading VMware vCenter, ESXi, and networking switches from Cisco and Dell. Experience with the Cisco Nexus family of switches, specifically Nexus 3K and 9K, is essential. Knowledge of NSX and ACI is considered a valuable asset. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and performance of VMware environments and storage solutions. The administrator will also be involved in troubleshooting issues and providing support for the infrastructure.
Must have:
- Strong understanding of Software defined storage technology.
- Strong experience with Powerflex Architecture (Rack & Appliance).
- Experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi upgrades.
- Experience with networking switches (CISCO & DELL).
- Experience in Cisco Nexus family of switches (Nexus 3K & 9K).
Good to have:
- Knowledge of NSX & ACI.
