Job Description

As a VP, Client Partner, you will lead client success by providing overall direction and leadership to the Client Services team. This role requires a senior-level strategist with a structured approach to business, capable of managing and growing Critical Mass’s client relationships. You will drive revenue targets, identify growth opportunities, and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, inspiring and empowering multidisciplinary teams across offices. The position demands strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to balance client priorities with agency goals, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.
Must Have:
  • 12+ years of Client Services experience in marketing, advertising, or consulting disciplines.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning and building digital experiences, eCommerce technology, analytics, content management, high level understanding of AEM and digital marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage complex teams and client relations.
  • Strong leadership skill to motivate your team.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to react quickly, assess, and implement solutions.

As a VP, Client Partner, you drive client success. Providing overall direction and leadership to the Client Services team can be difficult, but your tact and good judgement when interacting with others allows you to tackle the challenge. You have the curiosity of a senior level strategist and know what it takes to manage and grow Critical Mass’s visibility and presence in client relationships. Most importantly, you are a polished professional with a structured approach to business and client services that reflects the culture and capabilities of the agency.

This position is based in New York and not open to remote.

You will:

  • Direct all aspects of your clients’ business.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Own and drive revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth across your line of business.

  • Support team development through coaching and career planning.
  • Align financial and operational goals with the Executive Team.
  • Oversee strategic planning, fiscal management and organizational operations.
  • Drive account growth by expanding the client base and representing the agency externally.

You have:

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$190,000 - $235,000 USD
