Job Summary

- Attend weekly team meetings, Integrated Planning meetings, company partner meetings and other meetings that are relevant to the intern’s work assignments

- Passion for Publicity/Public Relations/Communications and Disney
- Strong interest in the Animation/Entertainment/Movie Industry
- Event planning/coordinating experience

Job Summary:
About the Role & Program:
Have you wondered how your skills and talents could translate into the world of animation? Our Internship Program dives into the craft, technology, and operations behind our animated films while developing your skills and connecting you to industry mentors. You'll learn what it means to be a part of a collaborative team and how your unique talents can grow within our studio. Find yourself immersed in hands-on projects and learning guided by the Publicity team. Disney Animation Publicity is responsible for the strategy and execution of public relations and communications plans to activate support across the company for upcoming animated releases and legacy titles. We also design and implement publicity initiatives and outreach in support of the Disney Animation brand within the film and animation industries. As our intern, you will also help with special projects related to publicity campaigns for our current and future releases.
What You Will Do:
- Special projects tied to Disney Animation’s participation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
- Coordinate and execute publicity plans for upcoming animated features and short films.
- Update department documents, develop talent confirmation letters and organize shared server folders.
- Attend weekly team meetings, Integrated Planning meetings, company partner meetings and other meetings that are relevant to the intern’s work assignments.

Education:
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Majoring in Publicity/Public Relations/Communications/English or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information:
- Approximate internship dates: June 1, 2026 through August 21, 2026
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- Fully available, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
