Job Description

The Watch System Architect will be responsible for developing and evolving the architecture for Watch systems, ensuring alignment with technical and user requirements. This includes designing features end-to-end, such as partitioning hardware, firmware, and drivers. The role involves diving deep into technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and conducting comprehensive analyses and risk assessments. The architect will lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating effective communication across departments.
Must have:
  • Strong foundation in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in building complex systems
  • Ability to distill complex technical details into clear strategies

Job Details

We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in Electrical and/or Computer engineering, a track record of building complex systems, and a love for technical depth. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading cross-functional teams and a proven ability to distill complex technical details into clear, actionable strategies. Responsibilities include: System Design & Architecture: Develop and evolve the architecture for Watch systems with a focus on technical depth and innovation, ensuring alignment with both technical and user requirements. Design features end-to-end: partition hardware, firmware, drivers. Problem Solving & Innovation: Dive deep into technical challenges, leveraging expertise to propose innovative solutions. Conduct comprehensive analyses and risk assessments, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues. Drive innovation through rapid prototyping / emulation / simulation / emulation. Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages curiosity and continuous learning. Distill complex concepts into clear, strategic directions for team members and stakeholders. Engage in active listening to understand team dynamics and project needs, facilitating effective communication across departments.
