  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • B driving license.
  • Independently drive and develop internal work environment and health work.
  • Plan, develop, and implement work environment routines and manage the management system.
  • Support project activities regarding work environment plans and protective equipment.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate fire protection work.

About the Role

Do you want to contribute to a safe work environment and join us on our journey towards a fossil-free future? VB Energi is now looking for a Work Environment Specialist for our head office in Ludvika.

We offer a broad and central role where you will work with work environment, health, and fire protection in a socially important business. You will be a key person in the organization and an important support for both employees and managers, with responsibility for both operational and strategic issues.

Your tasks

In this position, you will have the opportunity to independently drive and develop the internal work environment and health work at VB Energi and its subsidiaries VB Elnät and VB Elförsäljning. You will contribute with your specialist expertise and have an active and coaching role within the organization. An important part of your work is to plan, develop, and implement routines within the work environment and manage our management system. You will also participate in driving health-promoting activities and contribute to a safe and developing work environment throughout the business.

In your role as a work environment specialist, you will also step in and support project activities, regarding issues such as work environment plans, protective equipment, and other project-related matters.

You will work closely with the company's Environmental and Sustainability Specialist and HR BP; if necessary, you will support each other in your respective specialist areas. You report directly to VB Energi's CEO.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with employees and managers to provide support and guidance on work environment issues.
  • Be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on work environment efforts, giving you a central role in our organization.
  • Create and maintain documentation and processes to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Increase the knowledge level in work environment by conducting internal training and sharing your expertise.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Follow up and coordinate work within the fire protection organization.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

  • A university or college degree with a work environment focus or previous experience in qualified work environment work.
  • Several years of work experience in work environment work or equivalent, preferably from the contracting industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO standard 45001.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • B driving license.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Worked with internal auditing or project management.
  • Experience from the energy or related industry.
