Job Description

We are seeking a 3D Animator to join a global team working on an open-world MMORPG for PC and Consoles. Responsibilities include creating realistic and clear 3D character gameplay animations with keyframes, integrating and verifying animations using Unreal Engine, and collaborating to resolve technical and artistic animation issues. The role involves participating in playtests, proactively learning new methods, and updating animation sequences. Candidates should have expert proficiency in Maya, experience with HIK HumanIK systems and custom rigs, and an outstanding demo reel showcasing character/creature/gameplay systems. At least one shipped game and experience with Unreal Engine or a comparable engine are required, along with an understanding of character skin, Maya rigs, and character performance.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience
  • Bipedal / Quadruped / Custom / Creature / Imagination animation experience
  • Identify and help resolve technical and artistic issues related to animation
  • Be involved in regular group playtests
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an interest to experiment and learn new methods/practices
Must Have:
  • Expert proficiency in Maya animation package
  • Proficient with HIK HumanIK system and custom rigs
  • Outstanding demo reel demonstrating experience with character/creature/gameplay systems
  • 4+ years of experience animating video games
  • At least one shipped game
  • Experience working within Unreal Engine or a Comparable engine
  • Understanding of creating Character Skin, HIK Maya Rig
  • Jira Time tracking of all tasks throughout the animation pipeline
  • Meet project timelines and production schedules
  • Understanding of character performance, form, gesture, and silhouette
  • Understanding of anatomy and caricature
  • Experience with Character state networks / Blendtree’s and montages

G-SPACE STUDIO LTD is a European game development studio. Our company has been developing games and applications since 2011. We work with partners from Europe, Canada, and the USA.

Responsibilities:
  • Created strong / Realistic / Clear / Readable / “Keyframe” 3d Character Gameplay animations with instruction and feedback from the Lead Animator.
  • Animations will require Bipedal / Quadruped / Custom / Creature / Imagination.
  • Integrate and verify your own Animations via (Unreal Engine).
  • Identify and help resolve technical and artistic issues related to animation.
  • Be involved in regular group playtests.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an interest to experiment and learn new methods/practices.
  • Updating Animation Sequences with Relative Animation Tags (Unreal).
Requirements:
  • Expert level proficiency in Maya animation package.
