As the Motion Lead within our Marketing Studio, you will play a pivotal role in elevating motion design quality across all of Yahoo’s suite of products, including News, Mail, Sports, Finance, and beyond. Reporting to the Head of the Marketing Studio, you will collaborate closely with team leads from Performance, Events, and Experiential to craft and implement a cohesive motion design strategy that spans Yahoo's diverse portfolio.
Your role encompasses a wide range of marketing channels, from digital and social media to events, ensuring the delivery of dynamic, compelling visuals that strengthen Yahoo’s brand presence. This leadership position involves guiding a team of motion designers and managing external agency partnerships, ensuring all creative output aligns with Yahoo’s vision and maintains a consistent brand identity across all initiatives.
Your expertise in motion design will be instrumental in driving innovation, incorporating emerging technologies, and delivering impactful content that differentiates Yahoo in the market. You will actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing a unique perspective to the creative process. By collaborating across teams, you’ll ensure motion design remains a central component in shaping the direction of Yahoo’s marketing efforts. Storyboarding and concept development will be key tools in effectively communicating ideas and aligning motion strategies with both creative and business goals.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
