PayPal is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist (Italian Speaker) for the Inbound PayPal team. This role involves efficiently managing a high volume of inbound calls and chats from new merchants, providing product recommendations, and ensuring payment solutions are integrated. The ideal candidate will have a history of exceeding expectations, be fluent in both English and Italian, and possess strong problem-solving skills to support small and medium businesses with online and offline payment solutions.

Must Have:
  • Generate leads and drive inbound and outbound prospecting.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and drive to close.
  • Respond to inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and other various channels.
  • Provide tools for customer self-onboarding.
  • Confirm live-to-site and follow-up on in-flight opportunities.
  • Track and log all customer interactions, opportunities, outcomes, and follow-ups in Salesforce.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Receive high volume of inbound calls and chats from merchants in Italian and English.
  • Consistently follow up with in-flight opportunities until products are “live-to-site”.
  • Develop exceptional relationships with business owners by building rapport and trust.
  • Be an expert in PayPal merchant solutions and identify needs.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while overcoming objections.
  • Understand which sales opportunities to close internally and which to escalate.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to close deals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed established productivity goals.
  • Utilize Salesforce to log, track, and maintain customer records.
  • Collect and share merchant insights with Marketing, Product, and other departments.
  • A track record of success in over-achieving goals or quotas.
  • Superb interpersonal skills with ability to build trust quickly over phone and chat.

Job Summary:

PayPal currently seeks a hard-working and motivated Sales Specialist (Italian Speaker) to join the Inbound PayPal team. The online and offline merchant solutions that we offer help empower small and medium businesses with the means to accept an increasingly wide range of payments from their customers.

We are looking for a candidate with a history of exceeding expectations and positively separating themselves from the competition. The ideal candidate is capable of efficiently balancing a large volume of inbound calls and chats from new merchants with consistent follow-up of existing merchants until their payment solutions are integrated. This candidate must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Italian, identify and solve problems, and provide confident product recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
