We manage the application development for integrating ProPILOT/360° Safety Assist into new vehicles globally. In the early stages of development, we participate in vehicle specification reviews tailored to customer needs, considering and proposing optimal specifications for ProPILOT/360° Safety Assist. In the mid to late stages of development, in addition to component development, we lead the entire development team as a central coordinator for vehicle development and adaptation, including related functions. Furthermore, as ProPILOT/360° Safety Assist is a core advanced technology within the Renault/Mitsubishi Alliance, we also serve as a technical leader, driving the Alliance.

Job Content

This position is responsible for project management to integrate all-around driving assistance systems (360° Safety Assist), such as Around View Monitor, Distance Controller, and Emergency Brake, into vehicles. If the assigned vehicle model is for overseas markets, you will collaborate with overseas engineers to proceed with vehicle integration.

The components integrated into the vehicle are control software and electronic systems. You will be responsible for managing issues and ensuring that the entire system functions when these software and electronic systems are installed in the vehicle. You will handle a wide range of complex functions, including control ECUs, radar, hydraulic piping, and steering motors, and technically integrate them. You will finalize the vehicle as a functional unit, based on mechanical knowledge, combined with electronic systems and software.

  • Early Development Stage: Higher emphasis on actual vehicle reviews involving mechanical aspects.
  • Late Development Stage: Higher emphasis on desk reviews mainly involving software.

2. Specific Responsibilities and Expected Role/Position within and outside the Department

In system review, you will select optimal specifications according to vehicle specifications and market characteristics, develop a development plan, propose vehicle specifications, coordinate with related functions, and develop components with suppliers. Furthermore, for issues that arise during development, you will act as a coordinator among complex functions such as Camera/Radar/Sonar sensing and control functions, and collaborate with vehicle development as the system representative.
