Job Summary

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to support the coordinator, manage maintenance activities, and oversee new equipment installations and retrofitting. The role involves ensuring compliance with TMC requirements, identifying improvement opportunities using Kaizen, scheduling predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and supervising third-party services. The supervisor will also manage material inspection, implement countermeasures for failures, utilize failure analysis tools, and promote team development and safety practices.
Must have:
  • Support and represent the coordinator as needed
  • Program, plan, and supervise maintenance activities, new equipment installation, and retrofitting
  • Meet TMC requirements, especially GK topics (Safety, Team Communication, Job Observation, Workforce Allocation, Technician Skills)
  • Identify process and equipment improvement opportunities using Kaizen
  • Schedule and supervise machine shutdowns for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance
  • Develop and ensure compliance with work procedures (FOS, FIMP)
  • Supervise third-party services for projects and improvements
  • Supervise receipt and inspection of maintenance materials
  • Execute improvement actions from daily corrective maintenance
  • Prepare MBD reports, plan countermeasures for failure recurrence, and conduct global benchmarking
  • Utilize failure analysis tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, 8D, 6 Sigma, FMEA)
  • Achieve HK (SQCT) objectives for the maintenance department
  • Promote individual development and skill leveling for the team
  • Manage knowledge, skills, and attitude improvement plans for Maintenance Technicians, guided by Nissan Way principles
  • Ensure 5S in the maintenance department, responsible areas, and advanced stock control
  • Practice and ensure compliance with the '5 Safety Rules' with the team
  • Act proactively to stop operations and communicate risks upon detection
  • Support internal and external maintenance-related audits
  • Conduct alignment meetings and DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue) with the team
  • Completed Higher Education
  • Experience in Body Shop maintenance
  • Experience in Team Management

Job Details

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor:

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordinator in their activities and represent them when necessary;
  • Program, plan, supervise the execution of activities and support the installation of new equipment and retrofitting with the process engineering team. Support the adaptation of layout and technical installations (such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, automation, robotic or pneumatic), focusing on expanding productive capacity and improving equipment performance, as per resource approval (4M).
  • Meet TMC requirements in general and especially the GK topics (Safety, Team Communication, Job Observation, Workforce Allocation, Technician Skills and Time);
  • Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement by applying Kaizen;
  • Program and supervise machine shutdowns for predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance, aiming to minimize non-productive equipment time.
  • Prepare and ensure compliance with work procedures, FOS and FIMP, for corrective and preventive maintenance, making changes and adaptations as necessary.
  • Supervise third-party services in Projects, improvements, etc.
  • Supervise the receipt and inspection of materials for maintenance, ensuring their conformity with specifications.
  • Execute improvement actions identified in daily corrective maintenance with an action plan;
  • Prepare MBD reports always seeking to program countermeasures to prevent recurrence of failure and perform global benchmarking;
  • Use Failure analysis tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, 8D, 6 Sigma, FMEA);
  • Achieve the objectives defined in the HK (SQCT) board of the maintenance department;
  • Promote individual development seeking fundamental, basic and specific leveling of the team. Manage the knowledge, skills and attitude improvement plan for Maintenance Technicians, practice and guide technicians based on Nissan Way principles;
  • Ensure 5S of the maintenance department, areas under maintenance responsibility and advanced stock control;
  • Practice and ensure compliance with the “5 Safety Rules” with the work group;
  • Act proactively when detecting potential risk by stopping the operation and communicating to leadership;
  • Support internal and external audits related to maintenance.
  • Conduct alignment meetings and DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue) with the team, reinforcing priorities, lessons learned, indicators and good practices.

Requirements

  • Completed Higher Education.
  • Experience in Body Shop maintenance
  • Experience in Team Management
