Your daily life
We provide and support systems for air traffic management and protection. We work passionately in a modern architectural setting and strive to push the boundaries of technology in our key sectors. South of Paris, our site is easily accessible by public transport.
The objective of the position is to carry out training and evaluation activities involving the analysis, design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the operational "Train the Trainer" solution for our clients on a particular product.
In this context, your missions will be as follows:
- Analyze training needs for the Operational training user through a Training Needs Analysis (TNA);
- Write learning outcomes and evaluation criteria related to operational "Train the Trainers" training;
- Develop exercise scenarios using appropriate Exercise Editing Tools (EED) and datasets, and act as a pseudo-pilot or ATC operator, if applicable;
- Develop product/system documentation to support operational and simulation activities;
- Identify and finalize the integration of required training equipment in accordance with the training and evaluation strategy;
- Develop and conduct internal reviews of training materials, particularly task analyses, performance gap analyses, and learning strategies;
- Lead and participate in instructor preparation training to standardize training and evaluation before delivering the training;
- Provide operational "Train the Trainers" training;
- Ensure that appropriate procedures and practices are implemented at all times within the training framework, to guarantee consistent and high-quality service;
- Maintain Thales training materials in a "ready for delivery" state, where applicable, including simulation scenarios and datasets;
- Facilitate the training evaluation process and ensure continuous improvement of the training;
- Provide advice regarding the product's training solution and any other internal training-related questions;
- Monitor and control all training costs under direct control to ensure that the project budget is not exceeded, while respecting quality and schedule requirements.
Your profile
Holder of a BAC+5 (Master's degree equivalent), you have experience/skills in:
- Organizing technical training related to Air Traffic Control: you have already developed aeronautical simulation exercises intended for use in a formal training environment.
- Configuring and operating aeronautical simulation systems, as well as interacting with simulation datasets.
- An air traffic control environment, having obtained an ATC qualification or approval within the Tower, Approach, or Enroute sectors.
- Using MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in English.
You must be prepared to undertake relatively frequent national and international travel.
