Job Description
The ALIP Product Configurator role requires 4-5 years of experience in life insurance business practices or policy administration, with a focus on Java, JavaScript, Spring Integration, and Spring batch development. The ideal candidate will configure products, preferably annuities, within ALIP or similar systems, demonstrating strong SQL database knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This position demands effective communication and the ability to thrive in an Agile environment, collaborating with various business and IT stakeholders.
Good To Have:
- Experience with ALIP or other Life (Annuity Preferrable) Policy Administration / Actuarial applications.
- ALIP Annuity Product configuration or business configuration and/or Life Actuarial experience.
- ALIP DB understanding.
- Postgres database experience.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 4-5 years’ experience in Life insurance business practices or Life Insurance Policy Administration.
- 4-5 years’ experience in Java, JavaScript or similar scripting languages, Spring Integration development Spring batch.
- Good Understanding of SQL database and ability to write SQL queries.
- Issue Management and Quality Assurance.
- Test Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and function with various business and IT stakeholders.
- Good Communication skills.

- Good Understanding of SQL database and ability to write SQL queries (Postgres preferable).
- ALIP DB understanding will be preferrable
