Responsibilities

Dans ton rôle d’Artiste d’éclairage senior, tu vas...

  • Travailler avec le chef d’équipe pour créer des éclairages captivants pour divers personnages et environnements tout en maintenant un style cohérent
  • Travailler avec le responsable des éclairages pour s’assurer que les exigences créatives d’un projet sont respectées
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’art et de design pour créer des scénarios d’éclairage captivants et dramatiques pour le gameplay et les cinématiques
  • Maintenir un équilibre entre la qualité visuelle et les exigences de performance
  • Assurer que l’exécution des éclairages correspond au style visuel établi pour le jeu
  • Travailler avec le responsable pour développer et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles techniques dans le pipeline d’éclairage
  • Résoudre les problèmes qui surviennent en temps opportun
  • Travailler avec d’autres artistes d’éclairage et s’assurer que l’aide est apportée lorsque nécessaire

Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios

As Senior Lighting Artist, you will…

  • Work with the lead to create compelling lighting for a variety of characters and environments while maintaining a consistent style
  • Work with Lead Lighting Artist to ensure creative requirements of a project are met.
  • Work with Art and Design to create compelling and dramatic lighting scenarios for gameplay and cinematics
  • Maintain a balance between visual quality and performance requirements.
  • Match the established visual style for the game with lighting execution.
  • Work with lead to develop and implement new techniques into the lighting pipeline.
  • Troubleshooting issues that arise in a timely manner.
  • Work with other lighting artists and ensure help is given when needed.

Qualifications

  • Tu as une connaissance pratique des techniques d’éclairage modernes, de l’art technique et des pipelines de performance
  • Tu es autonome et capable de travailler et résoudre des problèmes avec un minimum d’assistance
  • Tu es très organisé avec la capacité de respecter les calendriers de production
  • Tu as des compétences en communication bien développées et une forte éthique de travail
  • Tu possèdes d’excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes
  • Tu as un œil créatif expérimenté et affiné
  • Tu apprécies la valeur d’une dynamique d’équipe solide et tu as un style qui génère une bonne morale
  • Tu as d’excellentes compétences en organisation, communication et relations interpersonnelles
  • Tu as un portfolio d’éclairage impressionnant montrant un beau mélange de compétences visuelles et techniques
  • Tu démontres une compréhension des méthodologies contemporaines d’éclairage et de surface, y compris les outils de rendu basés sur la physique, les réglages d’exposition, les shaders et les matériaux
  • Tu as une compréhension intuitive des fondamentaux de l’éclairage, de l’ambiance, de la composition, de la théorie des couleurs, de l’espace, des matériaux et de la lumière
  • Tu es compétent avec les ensembles d’outils de post-traitement pour améliorer l’apparence et la sensation
  • Tu es capable de donner et de recevoir des retours de manière productive et responsable

  • You have well-developed communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • You possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • You have an experienced and honed creative eye

  • You have an impressive lighting portfolio showcasing a beautiful mix of visual and technical skills
  • You demonstrate an understanding of contemporary lighting and surfacing methodologies, including physically based rendering tools, exposure settings, shaders, and materials
  • You have an intuitive understanding of lighting fundamentals, mood, composition, color theory, space, material, and light
  • You are proficient with post-process toolsets to enhance look and feel
  • You are able to deliver and receive feedback in a productive and accountable manner
