Job Description

The Bicycle Building position involves assembling bicycles sold at Trek's Clearwater retail location. Responsibilities include maintaining assembly schedules, performing quality inspections, and working with Service Managers to ensure high-quality builds. The assembler will also learn Point of Sale practices related to bicycle building and aid in inventory management to provide accurate information to the sales staff. Efficiency in completing daily tasks and schedules is crucial. This part-time position requires a fast learner who is enthusiastic and detail-oriented.

Summary

Job Description

The Bicycle Building position will assemble all bicycle sold at our retail locations.  As new bicycles arrive at the store, the builder would be responsible for maintaining assembly schedules and quality inspections. A fast learning and excited individual would aid in proper inventory management to ensure that the sales staff was supplied accurate information regarding currently built product.

Position Responsibilities

  • Learn the proper Point of Sale practices that relate to bicycle building.
  • Work directly with Service Managers to develop quality bicycle builds and expectations.
  • Efficiently complete daily work schedules and tasks.
