Job Description
Hike is building the Hike Gaming Nation and is looking for an Assistant Manager Finance. The role involves managing payment gateway partnerships, daily reconciliations, TDS, GST, and direct tax compliance, including payments, filings, and coordination with authorities. Responsibilities also include handling foreign payments, cross-border payouts, documentation, bank coordination, and regulatory compliance. The position requires leading month-end closing, MIS reporting, and treasury management, such as closing books on time, delivering reports, monitoring cash flows, and planning funding. The role also entails running statutory and internal audits, coordinating end-to-end processes, preparing schedules, addressing queries, and implementing improvements. A key aspect is bringing strong leadership, operational excellence, and analytics to build robust finance processes and collaborate across teams, utilizing AI where possible to automate, analyze, and optimize daily finance workflows.
Must have:
- 2+ years as Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Solid grounding in accounting
- Statutory compliance
- Financial operations in tech setup
- Direct & Indirect Tax (GST) experience
- TDS & Foreign Payments expertise
- Self-driven and works well in lean teams
Good to have:
- Familiarity with AI-based finance tools

Skills & experience we're looking for 👨💻
- 2 plus years as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with solid grounding in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial ops in a fast-moving product/tech setup I Top Talent in Every Role
- Direct & Indirect Tax (GST) - proven hands-on experience managing computation, payments, reconciliations, return filings, notices, and coordinating with consultants where needed.I Top Talent in Every Role
- TDS & Foreign Payments - strong grip on deduction, deposit, returns, certificates, plus handling overseas vendor payments, Form 15CB/15CA filings, and banking coordination | Move Fast

- Operations→ Manage payment gateway partnerships & daily reconciliations — own relationships, settlements, daily checks, resolve issues fast.
- Operations→ Handle TDS, GST & Direct Tax compliance — accurate payments, on-time filings, reconciliations, clear communication with authorities/consultants. | Excellence
- Operations→ Manage foreign payments -cross-border payouts, docs, bank coordination, regulatory compliance
- Operations→ Lead month-end closing, MIS reporting & treasury management - close books on time, deliver reports, monitor cash flows, plan funding smartly.
