Job Description

As an Associate Community & Social Media Manager at Carry1st, you'll be responsible for building and nurturing vibrant gaming communities around the Carry1st Shop and its game portfolio. This involves developing and implementing engagement strategies across platforms like Discord, social media, and forums; creating and managing engaging social media content (including video production); gathering and relaying community feedback; organizing events and competitions; and analyzing community performance metrics. The role requires a deep passion for gaming, particularly mobile games, and proven community management skills with experience in using analytics to improve strategies.

As a Community & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for building vibrant gaming communities around the Carry1st Shop and our games. You will play a key role in engaging gamers through grassroots efforts, events, and social media strategies.

Build and grow gaming communities for games in the Carry1st portfolio
Develop and execute strategies to boost engagement across platforms like Discord, social media, and forums
Create and manage social media content, including video production and publishing
Collect and relay community feedback, suggestions, and concerns to internal teams
Organise and promote events, competitions, and tournaments to drive engagement
Track and analyse community and social media performance metrics, providing regular insights

Requirements

What makes you a great candidate?

Based in North Africa (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia) with a strong passion for gaming, especially mobile games.
Proven ability to grow and engage communities to meet business goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in using platforms like Discord, and Facebook Groups, as well as community management tools.
Comfortable using analytics to inform strategies and measure impact.
