13 years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in Virtual Desktop solutions such as Azure Citrix and VMWare. Experience working with a team size of over 5 VDI is required along with technical guidance, management, and governance of the team. The role requires willingness to provide 24x7 support and flexibility to work in shifts.

Primary Skills

• Leading technical design direction and solution architecture
• Architect-level CITRIX VMWare and MS AVD Virtualization skills and experience in designing, installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting complex and large projects
• Architect-level skills in optimizing performance, scalability, security, high availability, monitoring, printing, connectivity and group policy
• Administrator-level skills in operating Intune Mobility and Virtualization CITRIX VMware
• Ability to provide comprehensive end-to-end architecture for stakeholders business and technical requirements ensuring alignment across people process and systems domains
• Gathering business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders to produce a requirements specification document
• Analyzing and investigating possible solutions to meet customers business and technical requirements
• Producing professional high-level solution descriptions and obtaining customer acceptance of these solutions
• Responsibility for the technical solution through all phases of the project supporting project managers and working within a defined change management process

Secondary Skills

• Proven experience in leading Virtual Desktop design and implementation efforts on complex projects including planning tracking and controlling infrastructure project activities
• Strong experience in technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle Analysis Architecture Design Build Test Production
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Experience in technically leading projects throughout the complete IT Development Lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer
• Capability to organize and conduct requirement capture workshops and proactively listen to user needs
• Ability to lead customer relationships
• Disciplined approach to network and infrastructure design asking challenging questions about requirements and architecture at each level of hierarchy

Certifications Good to have

• Microsoft AVD CITRIX VMWare CVAD
• PowerShell Terraform or any scripting knowledge is an added advantage
