DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Provides audit support to the Dir, Internal Audit.

  • Supervises auditors, external consulting auditors and content specialist in the performance of audits; may supervise internal auditors.

  • Plans, leads and/or executes internal and/or J-SOX control audits, as well as prepares work papers and/or reviews the work papers of other auditors.

  • Manages the development, maintenance and effective execution of department policies and procedures.

  • At times, directs and advises auditors in the objective identification, validation and documentation of remediation issues; and the development of practical recommendations.

  • Writes and/or edits audit reports and other reports.

  • Communicates the audit results to management.

  • Manages the identification and evaluation of the Company’s business risks and assists the development of the annual operational audit plan.

  • Provides critical assistance to the Dir, Internal Audit with strategic risk assessments, interfacing with management and direct reports.

  • Develops and manages project budgets and expenditures.

  • Manages and/or performs the Quarterly Progress Reporting Process.

  • Leads post-engagement reviews as part of the department quality assessment and improvement process.

  • Provides assistance as needed in the following areas: training, coaching, and guidance of the internal auditors.

  • Participates in the hiring and evaluation of internal and external consulting auditors.

  • Develops and maintains strong cross-functional relationships with multiple management levels within the Nintendo organization.

  • Applies understanding of the business and how own area integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of internal and/or external auditing experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in applying internal auditing and control concepts and principles, and in performing risk-based audits.

  • Thorough understanding of business management principles and operational processes and practices.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and common audit and risk frameworks.

  • Hands-on Sarbanes Oxley internal control and audit experience required.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent related experience.

  • Continuing education required, such as participation in professional audit organizations (Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), etc.).

  • Certifications, such as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant certifications preferred.

  • Valid passport required.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes a base salary range of $114,000 - $205,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
