Job Description

The Azure .NET Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting scalable and secure applications using .NET and Azure cloud services. This includes designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Kubernetes Service. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure application performance, scalability, and security. The role involves writing efficient code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and managing deployment pipelines. The Software Engineer analyzes and solves software engineering problems, responsible for development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development and maintenance. Collaborates with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Job Details

  • Develop, maintain, and support scalable and secure applications using .NET (Core/Framework) and Azure cloud services.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions utilizing various Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to design and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services using Azure API Management and other relevant technologies.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and modular code while adhering to best practices, coding standards, and version control using Git.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security by leveraging Azure monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Create and manage deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the implementation of cloud solutions meets business requirements, performance expectations, and cost optimizations.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
