Key Responsibilities:
The successful Business Development Representative assists in creating sales opportunities for the entire Financial Technology Sales Team through; target market research, prospecting via social media and event attendance, to follow-up on marketing activity including in-bound leads. We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and a growth mindset.
You will:
- Support Senior Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in the market.
- Support with prospecting for events and post lead follow ups.
- Prospect potential clients by phone and direct emailing, while also researching and qualifying new leads.
- Answer prospect questions and send additional information by email, while also creating and handling prospect lists for each region.
- Schedule meetings for Senior Sales Executives.
- Supports Sales Executives in closing deals to meet individual/team quotas.
- Maintain accurate records of your activity in Salesforce.
- Develop a deep understanding of our FinTech solutions and our product updates.
- Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales.
- Passion for sales and a keen interest in B2B sales.
- 0-2 years of BDR/ SDR experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Can do spirit and resourcefulness.
- Be a team-player.
- Experience with Sales Enablement Tolls such as Salesforce, 6sense, Highspot, Outreach or Storylane beneficial.
