Nasdaq Financial Technology is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales team. This role involves creating sales opportunities through market research, prospecting via social media, event attendance, and following up on marketing leads. The successful candidate will support Senior Sales Executives, schedule meetings, maintain Salesforce records, and develop a deep understanding of FinTech solutions. This position is ideal for individuals early in their sales career with a passion for B2B sales and a growth mindset.
Must have:
  • Support Senior Sales Executives to identify market opportunities.
  • Support prospecting for events and post-lead follow-ups.
  • Prospect potential clients via phone and email, qualify new leads.
  • Answer prospect questions, send information, manage prospect lists.
  • Schedule meetings for Senior Sales Executives.
  • Support Sales Executives in closing deals to meet quotas.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce.
  • Develop deep understanding of FinTech solutions and product updates.
  • Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit curiosity for learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales.
  • 0-2 years of BDR/SDR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for sales and keen interest in B2B sales.
  • Can-do spirit and resourcefulness.
  • Be a team-player.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Sales Enablement Tools such as Salesforce, 6sense, Highspot, Outreach or Storylane.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful Business Development Representative assists in creating sales opportunities for the entire Financial Technology Sales Team through; target market research, prospecting via social media and event attendance, to follow-up on marketing activity including in-bound leads. We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and a growth mindset.

You will:

  • Support Senior Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in the market.
  • Support with prospecting for events and post lead follow ups.
  • Prospect potential clients by phone and direct emailing, while also researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Answer prospect questions and send additional information by email, while also creating and handling prospect lists for each region.
  • Schedule meetings for Senior Sales Executives.
  • Supports Sales Executives in closing deals to meet individual/team quotas.
  • Maintain accurate records of your activity in Salesforce.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our FinTech solutions and our product updates.
  • Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales.
  • Passion for sales and a keen interest in B2B sales.
  • 0-2 years of BDR/ SDR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can do spirit and resourcefulness.
  • Be a team-player.
  • Experience with Sales Enablement Tolls such as Salesforce, 6sense, Highspot, Outreach or Storylane beneficial.
