Job Description
You will be responsible for commercial follow-up and development with a portfolio of clients (manufacturers, operators, maintainers, etc.) in the railway sector. Your main objective will be to build a lasting relationship of trust, while ensuring the sale of products and services in the France & Benelux area.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure order taking for Engineering Services and Spares & Trading activities, in line with budget objectives.
- Update and monitor tenders in the CRM: client information, product scopes, reports, etc.
- Perform cost and sales price analyses via the FCA tool, respecting expected profitability levels.
- Ensure compliance with the overdue level in your scope.
- Identify and report commercial opportunities in the S&OP process.
- Organize client meetings and visits to strengthen product visibility and commercial relationship.
- Manage internal tender follow-up, in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure active monitoring of public markets related to the activity.
- Be the escalation point in case of unresolved disagreement during the project phase.
Working conditions:
- Travel: throughout the France & Benelux region (expenses subject to prior authorization and separate invoicing).
- Telework possible after 3 months of assignment, 1 to 2 days per week, subject to agreement with the Operational Manager.
Qualifications
Desired profile:
- Education: Master's degree (engineering school or business school with technical or industrial specialization).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a commercial or technical-commercial function, ideally in an industrial or railway environment.
- Key skills:
- Mastery of tender processes and CRM tools.
- Good understanding of technical and financial issues related to industrial products.
- Ability to negotiate, analyze costs and manage cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication skills, customer relationship sense and synthesis skills.
- Professional English required (regular exchanges with international contacts).
