Job Description

As a Capture Manager, you will help lead the BD and Capture activities across our Defence and Security portfolio in the Aerospace & Maritime domains across the Indo-Pacific region. You will collaborate with various business line leaders to ensure that you are maximising on any opportunities at the time of RFP/RFT release. You will be accountable for a defined portfolio of business development and capture of opportunities of Defence and Security products and services, ensuring Business Development strategies are aligned with strategic plans to meet budgeted orders and pipeline targets. This role involves ongoing client and stakeholder engagement to enhance reputation with Governments and regional defence forces, and securing orders for services and product sales to meet or exceed agreed BDIP targets.
Must Have:
  • Extensive experience in the BD or Capture space
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to Defence, ideally within the training and support space
  • Led or participated in significant CASG (ASDEFCON) Defence Bids
  • Eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance

About This Role

The role we are offering you

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Extensive experience in the BD or Capture space
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to Defence, ideally within the training and support space

Location:

  • Brisbane, QLD or Homebush, NSW
  • We operate a hybrid working approach.
  • Your role will involve some national and international travel

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
