Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Claims Specialist to remotely support a client. Responsibilities include supervising the transportation claims inbox, collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal partners to recover appropriate funds, and assisting with end-to-end task completion. The role involves maintaining daily contact with client contacts, performing data entry, and order processing within specified systems. Key duties include documenting and reporting on pending inquiries, making outgoing calls, and working with the freight payment team to resolve disputes with transportation carriers. The specialist will also communicate with carriers to ensure complete information and manage freight claims from beginning to end, potentially creating new filing procedures. Assistance with returns and refusals involves coordinating with carriers, distribution facilities, and customer service to manage load cancellations, reschedules, or reworkings. Proficiency in SAP and Excel is required.

  • Supervise the transportation claims inbox and work with the vendors, customers and internal partners to ensure that company is recovering the appropriate funds.
  • Assist with end-to-end task completion.
  • Maintain daily contact with key client contacts and perform data entry / order processing within specified system.
  • Document and report on status of pending inquiries regarding account problems, plus some outgoing phone calls.
  • Intermediate position that requires a Bachelors degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Work with freight payment team to ensure any disputes with transportation carriers are solved timely.
  • Communication with carriers to ensure that there are no gaps in information required.
  • End to end management of freight claims inclusive of assisting company in creating a new procedure in how to file claims.
  • Assistance with returns and refusals inbox which will require associate to coordinate with carriers, distribution facilities and customer service to determine if loads need to be cancelled, re-scheduled or re-worked.
  • Seeking candidates who have proficient SAP and excel knowledge/skills.
