As a Trade Compliance Co-op, you will gain exposure to a dynamic business environment where the individual will be capable of applying classroom skills to real life supply chain situations with a focus of customs regulations. The overall experience will increase the students’ knowledge of the global supply chain of a consumer product! The Global Logistics Department has an extensive network of partners that support the various subgroups of the Department. The Co-Op will be involved in the continuous interaction and coordination among internal and external partners including Transportation providers for Domestic and International shipments, Customs Brokers, Vendors, Booking Agents, Affiliate Markets and Warehouses, globally.

 

What You'll Do:

  • As part our Team, you will ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations, collaborating with the Global Trade Customs Compliance Team to facilitate the swift movement of goods across boarders.

  • Develop and detail effective strategies for Hasbro LATAM markets, while applying and improving project management skills in a key support role for new provider implementation.

  • Play a leading role in assisting in export denied party screening process within E2Open.

  • Collaborate within our Team to handle US Exports Laws & Regulations. Coordinate with collaborators to process shipments, update Smartsheet, and prepare shipper's letter of instructions for Electronic Export Information (EEI).

  • Gain insight into tariff classification of Hasbro products under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and provide support in related tasks.

  • Collaborate and support internal compliance tasks such as Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) quarterly entry testing and audit of weekly broker bills for processing and payment, among other tasks.

  • Working with a team to analyze and track global duty spend and sec 301 tariffs. You will work cross-functionally with Hasbro brand teams, as well as global commercial markets and their corresponding customs brokers to ensure global partners follow Hasbro policies & procedures.

  • Working with SAP, ACE & Customs Brokers Portals to create reports and analyze data.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent major with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2025.

  • Available to work full-time hours in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location for the entire duration of the internship.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively & be able to prioritize tasks and manage schedules to ensure that project milestones are met on time.

  • Desire to adapt and learn, embracing Hasbro’s core values of Passion, Integrity, Creativity and Community.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships through teamwork and leadership skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reasoning, and organization skills.

  • Willingness to take initiative, developing processes and reports relating to the Hasbro business.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $20
