Job Description

Hasbro is seeking a Trade Compliance Co-op to join their Global Logistics Department. This role offers exposure to a dynamic business environment, applying classroom skills to real-life supply chain situations with a focus on customs regulations. The Co-op will ensure adherence to trade laws, support international market solutions, gain insight into tariff classification, manage US Exports Laws & Regulations, and assist with internal compliance tasks. They will also analyze global duty spend and partner with brand teams to ensure policy adherence, enhancing knowledge of the global consumer product supply chain.
Must have:
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Global Trade Customs Compliance Team.
  • Support the development of solutions for Hasbro’s international markets.
  • Gain insight into tariff classification of Hasbro products under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
  • Provide support for LATAM teams by compiling and organizing product data.
  • Manage US Exports Laws & Regulations, update Smartsheet, and build shipper's letter of instructions for Electronic Export Information (EEI).
  • Engage and support internal compliance tasks such as Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) quarterly entry testing, LATAM post entry audit, and export denied party screening.
  • Work with a team to analyze and track global duty spend and IEEPA tariffs as well as mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Hasbro brand teams, global commercial markets, and corresponding customs brokers.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking undergraduate program in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent.
  • Available to work in hybrid mode, with three (3) full-time days in-person at Pawtucket, RI office.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent reasoning and organization skills.
Good to have:
  • Relevant Supply Chain, Logistics or business internships experience.
  • Proficient in Spanish.

As a Trade Compliance Co-op, you will gain exposure to a dynamic business environment where the individual will be capable of applying classroom skills to real life supply chain situations with a focus of customs regulations. The overall experience will increase the students’ knowledge of the global supply chain of a consumer product! The Global Logistics Department has an extensive network of partners that support the various subgroups of the Department. The Co-Op will be involved in the continuous interaction and coordination among internal and external partners including Transportation providers for Domestic and International shipments, Customs Brokers, Vendors, Booking Agents, Affiliate Markets and Warehouses, globally.

What You'll Do:

  • As part of our Team, you will ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations, collaborating with the Global Trade Customs Compliance Team to facilitate the swift movement of goods across boarders.
  • Support the development of solutions for Hasbro’s international markets, using project management skills on diverse projects.
  • Gain insight into tariff classification of Hasbro products under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and provide support for the LATAM teams by compiling and organizing product data to ensure accurate tariff classification of goods by customs brokers. This includes collecting technical specifications, product descriptions, and other relevant documentation to assist in the classification process in accordance with applicable customs regulations.
  • Collaborate within our Team to manage US Exports Laws & Regulations to lead shipments, update Smartsheet, and build shipper's letter of instructions for Electronic Export Information (EEI).
  • Engage and support internal compliance tasks such as Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) quarterly entry testing, LATAM post entry audit and assist in export denied party screening process.
  • Work with a team to analyze and track global duty spend and IEEPA tariffs as well as mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Hasbro brand teams, as well as global commercial markets and their corresponding customs brokers to ensure global partners follow Hasbro policies & procedures.

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent major with at least one quarter or semester left after December 2026.
  • Available to work in hybrid mode, with three (3) full-time days in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively & be able to prioritize tasks and manage schedules to ensure that project milestones are met on time.

  • Hasbro Headquarters are in Pawtucket, RI, 6.5 miles from the Attleboro, MA commuter rail station. We offer shuttle service to/from the office/commuter rail station.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.60 to $25.60. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
