The Commercial Sales Manager - Fleetail will deeply understand local markets and fleet customer business models to drive strategic collaborations. This role focuses on Business to Business fleetail sales (accounts purchasing 15 or less units annually) with Nissan dealerships. Responsibilities include soliciting and negotiating sales, providing support and training for Nissan's regional operations and dealer network, and balancing profit and volume. The manager will align selling strategies with other commercial sales teams and provide account management for major fleetail accounts.
Must have:

  • 5+ years Commercial Vehicle sales experience or strong Business to Business sales experience with emphasis on major account/fleet sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent commercial vehicle fleet sales experience/business to business proven sales track record.
Good to have:
  • Completion of Nissan Sales & Service Way Training and Model Line Certification (for current Nissan employees).
  • Experience using Salesforce.com.

We are currently looking for a CSM- Fleetail to join our team.

Gaining a deep understanding of the local market(s) and the business models, strategic priorities, future direction, financial drivers and leadership profiles of existing and potential new Fleet customers. The Commercial Sales Manager - Fleetail will work with their local business partners and dealerships to translate understanding into business opportunities and plans that lead to strategic collaborations vs. transactional relationships.

This role will drive Business to Business fleetail sales which are defined by an account that purchases 15 or less units within a calendar year in conjunction with fleet managers from our network of dealers. Sales objectives are set by national the Fleet Department business unit based on fleet Polk registrations and communicated annually. The geographic territory is currently defined by regional maps.

A Day in the Life:

  • Solicits and negotiates Fleetail sales with corporations, fleet management companies, leasing companies, and local & state government agencies.
  • Provides support and training for regional operations and dealer network in the following categories - commercial programs not limited to Fleetail sales, Courtesy Delivery Program, and Centralized Billing Program.
  • Responsible to balance profit and volume of units sold.
  • Requires strong, proven sales skills, excellent customer service, and long-term commitment to ensure is viewed as a valued business partner with companies and organizations.
  • Align selling strategies, focuses, and campaigns with our Commercial Sales Managers – (National and Fleetail), Fleet Distribution, Aftersales, and Fleet Operations.
  • Provide account management of our major fleetail accounts, interfacing with dealers, regional operations, and National Fleet Operations on required services. The successful CSM - Fleetail will encourage relationships between franchised dealers, fleet management companies and commercial customers.

Who We're Looking for:

Job Knowledge and Skill:

  • Highly motivated self-starter who can plan and manage activities in a virtual office environment with minimal direct supervision.

Experience:

  • 5+ years Commercial Vehicle sales experience or strong Business to Business sales experience is required with emphasis on major account/fleet sales.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required and/or equivalent commercial vehicle fleet sales experience or business to business proven sales track record. For current employees, completion of Sales & Service Way Training and Model Line Certification preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products. Additional knowledge of sales related systems. Experience using Salesforce.com a plus.

Travel:

  • Travel Requirement within designated territory – 75%

Salary Range:

$96,776.00 - $172,830.00
