Job Description

Nine is seeking a passionate and innovative Communications Coordinator to join their team, delivering key internal and external communications that promote their brand. This role involves media announcements, events, supporting shareholder updates, and working with journalists. It's a unique opportunity to work for Australia’s media company and connect employees and stakeholders to the company's strategy and business priorities.
Must Have:
  • Support and execute the communications strategy for the Nine Group
  • Build out the communications calendar
  • Draft a range of communication materials, including media releases and internal newsletters
  • Work closely with the People & Culture team on critical projects
  • Organise internal events and manage the Communications inbox
  • Manage internal communications channels like the intranet and Slack
  • Use technology and AI to boost workflow efficiencies
  • Creatively execute projects using industry best practice and ideas
  • Some previous experience in a communications or corporate affairs role, ideally within a large organisation
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in design tools like Canva
  • Experience with internal communications technology such as Google Suite, Slack
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a similar field
  • The ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, from media announcements and events to supporting updates for shareholders and working with journalists across the country.
