Job Description

The Concept Artist will be responsible for creating concepts for characters and props for the AAA PC/Console game Rainbow Six Siege and future projects. The artist will produce sketches and quick iterations, create concepts from references or scratch, propose concepts to the team, adapt artwork based on feedback, and refine concept art with details. The artist will collaborate with the Art Director and Lead Artist. The job requires strong drawing skills, knowledge of character and prop design, understanding of concept art, Photoshop skills, and communication skills.
Must have:
  • Strong drawing and character design skills
  • Knowledge of concept art and illustration
  • Strong Photoshop skills
  • Communication skills to work with different art departments
  • 1 year or more of experience in Studio or gaming projects
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Blender or 3D modeling tools

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Concept Artist to be part of our amazing AAA PC/Console game: Rainbow Six Siege and future projectsIf you want to work in a friendly and international environment, join our team.

What you´ll do

  • Produce sketches and quick iterations (digital and/or paper).
  • Create concepts of characters or props from existing references or from scratch.
  • Propose concepts to the artistic team and discuss possibilities.
  • Adapt your artwork based on feedback.
  • Find a balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints.
  • Refine your concept art to illustration by adding layers of detail.
  • Work closely with the Art Director, Lead Artist and overall art team.

Qualifications

What you´ll bring

  • Strong knowledge of drawing skills, light and color theory.
  • Strong knowledge of character and prop design.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of concept art and illustration, particularly character customization, military weapon design and understanding of graphic design.
  • Strong Photoshop skills.
  • Knowledge of Blender or 3D modeling tools to visualize weapon designs from multiple angles and support the 3D team with clear design indications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work and communicate with the different art and design departments.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and good time management.
  • ​​​​​​​1 years or more of previous experience working in a Studio or within videogames projects.
