Job Description

As a Core Software Student at Intel, you'll participate in the full software development lifecycle, creating tools for future CPU architectures. You'll work with various programming languages (assembly, C++, Python) and gain experience in BIOS, operating systems, and compiler optimizations. The team focuses on long-term growth and provides in-depth training on Intel processors. This role involves contributing to Intel's future products and is part of a high-impact team. The position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is ideally suited for a B.Sc./M.Sc. student in a relevant field with at least 3 semesters until graduation. Software programming experience is a plus.

What will you do?As Software Student in Intel's Core team,  you'll take part in the Software development process, just like any other Engineer. You will develop tools for future CPU architectures which drive the world. Our team works with a variety of programming languages, starting from low level assembly and up to C++ and Python. We believe in long-term mutual growth and invest in teaching you the inner workings of Intel’s leading processors and the fundamentals of BIOS, operating systems, compiler optimizations and more. You will be joining a winning team, which is taking a critical part in bringing Intel’s future products to the world.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. Student in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science, or equivalent  
  • At least 3 semesters until graduation
  • Availability to work at least 20 hours a week 
  • Experience with Software programming – Advantage!
