The Customer Service Operations Associate (CSOA) – Filing Manager is a key member of CT Corporation’s Business Licensing (BL) Team. This role involves preparing and submitting applications for licenses and registrations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance for diverse clients. We seek a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with initiative, passionate about client success. The role requires managing multiple tasks, cross-functional collaboration, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include filing 50-100 applications weekly, collaborating with Account Managers, reporting procedural changes, and communicating with government agencies while maintaining data confidentiality.
Must have:
  • Prepare and file standard, advanced, and specialized license applications and renewals.
  • Submit between 50–100 filings per week.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Associate–Account Managers (CSA).
  • Report changes in filing procedures to BL onboarding and/or research teams.
  • Communicate effectively with government agencies and internal teams.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when working with sensitive client data.

Job Details

The Customer Service Operations Associate (CSOA) – Filing Manager is a key member of the Account Services Department within CT Corporation’s Business Licensing (BL) Team. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting applications necessary to obtain, amend, renew, or close licenses and registrations for our diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file standard, advanced, and specialized license applications and renewals across a range of clients and industries.
  • Submit between 50–100 filings per week, depending on complexity.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Associate–Account Managers (CSA) to ensure timely fulfillment of all filing orders and resolve any barriers to licensure.
  • Report changes in filing procedures to the BL onboarding and/or research teams to keep internal databases current.
  • Communicate effectively with government agencies and internal teams to facilitate successful filings.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when working with sensitive client data.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in data entry, licensing, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $45,100 - $61,700
