Intel's Information Security organization is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead a team of engineers in designing, architecting, and building secure classified infrastructure products for US Government operations. The role involves driving change, setting direction, managing multiple tasks, collaborating in a matrix environment, and developing a high-performing team. Candidates need strong communication skills and the ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Good To Have:
  • Active US Government Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline.
  • Experience with or knowledge of DEVSECOPS Principles.
  • Ability to implement and configure Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
  • Experience with DoD security implementation (e.g. STIG).
  • Knowledge of security tools for managing the environment.
  • Experience with NIST 800-171/53 frameworks.
  • Proven experience in recruiting and seeding new teams.
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams.

Who we Are:

Intel's Information Security organization enables Intel to provide secure products, solutions, and services which meet U.S. regulatory requirements. The Information Security organization supports the unique IT information Security and Compliance requirements for Intel federal projects that deliver products and/or services to the US Government (USG). As part of this team, you will help us grow our secure solution suite to meet U.S. Government requirements. The Intel Information Security organization is seeking a Cyber Security Manager. The candidate chosen for this role will manage a team of engineers working on design, architecture, and build secure classified infrastructure products to support USG operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead a team of highly skilled engineers in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to drive changes, generate new ideas and set a clear direction.
  • Flexible to work on multiple tasks on multiple fronts and make frequent course corrections.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment, both with local and remote employees and peers.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Interest and ability to rapidly learn leading-edge technologies and methodologies without reliance on previous implementations or in-house expertise.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States government customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • High School /Equivalent Diploma with 7+ years of applicable experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of applicable experience.
  • 4+ years of Engineering Management experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in cyber security domains.
  • One or more Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CASP E, Security+, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
