Job Description

This role involves designing data schemas for analysis and AI integration, collaborating with development teams to ensure data quality and security, and implementing efficient data pipelines for signal processing and AI models. The engineer will work closely with AI and signal processing teams to define data needs, evaluate emerging technologies, and maintain clear documentation for data architecture and processes. The position also focuses on industrializing data generation pipelines and integrating new analytical use cases, ensuring performance and security of models.

Must Have:

Design data schemas for analysis and AI integration.
Collaborate with development teams for data quality and security.
Implement efficient data pipelines for AI models.
Work with AI teams to define data needs.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management.
Create and maintain data architecture documentation.
Establish data management and AI development standards.
Ensure model performance and security.
Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Python, Matlab.
Experience on constrained on-premise platforms.
Data modeling.
MLOps or DevOps in constrained contexts (embedded, edge, IoT).
Ability to industrialize, deploy & monitor data pipelines (CI/CD, ML Flow, Kubernetes).
Notions of signal processing (radar/SAR imaging).

Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the site is one of the most important centers of technological excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.

Design data schemas that promote analysis and integration with AI algorithms and other processing from the competence center;
Collaborate with development teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security;
Set up efficient data pipelines for feeding signal processing and AI models: real data processing and synthetic data generation;
Work closely with AI and signal processing teams to define data needs and propose adapted solutions;
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve data management capabilities in collaboration with the local IT department;
Create and maintain clear and accessible documentation for data architecture and associated processes (in particular, keep up-to-date the data assessment of different projects and globally for the sector);
Establish standards and best practices for data management and AI solution development;
Ensure model performance and security (monitoring domain coverage and studying cybersecurity risks)

Your profile

Your priority is to guarantee the design, evolution, and optimization of our data architecture. Furthermore, thanks to your advanced skills in data engineering, you will also participate in the implementation and industrialization of data generation pipelines and the integration of new analytical or application use cases.

You have a BAC+5 degree (e.g., engineering school) and experience in:

Proficiency in main data management tools and languages: SQL, NoSQL, Python, Matlab;
Experience on constrained on-premise platforms
Data modeling
MLOps or DevOps in constrained contexts (embedded, edge, IoT)
Ability to industrialize, deploy & monitor data pipelines (CI/CD, ML Flow, Kubernetes);
Signal processing - notion of radar/SAR imaging processing
