- Preparation and selection of geo and vector data for integration into simulation systems
- Geo-referencing and digitization of vector data
- Ensuring the correlation and consistency of different data types
- Generation of target databases according to technical specifications
- Building and maintaining database projects and associated libraries
- Publication and testing of databases in simulation environments
- Verification of data quality and functionality
- Creation of technical documentation
- Training and support for customers and internal teams
- Completed studies or training in geodesy, geoinformatics, cartography, aerospace engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in processing and modeling geodata
- Knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD systems
- Understanding of simulation systems and their requirements
- Very good German and English language skills

About This Role
We develop state-of-the-art flight simulation solutions for civil and military applications. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Database Modeler (m/f/d) who will work with passion and precision on the creation and maintenance of geographical databases for our simulation systems.
Your Tasks
- Preparation and selection of geo and vector data for integration into simulation systems
- Geo-referencing and digitization of vector data
- Ensuring the correlation and consistency of different data types
- Generation of target databases according to technical specifications

Your Profile
- Completed studies or training in geodesy, geoinformatics, cartography, aerospace engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in processing and modeling geodata
- Knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD systems
- Understanding of simulation systems and their requirements
- Analytical thinking, structured way of working and high quality orientation
- Communication skills and teamwork
- Very good German and English language skills
