Job Description

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customer, shipper and station in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that names and address are within his coverage area.
• Ensuring all the items that are to be delivered or collected are safe and free from damages.
• To report any discrepancies to Station Head if found.
• Ensure that the names and address on items to be collected or delivered matches the actual person and location in the system.
• Accepting payments for cash on delivery (COD) items if applicable.
• To ensure that the COD collected matches the system.
• Ensuring all COD money collected from customers are handled over to the Station Head/Fleet Assistant on daily basis.
• To call the customer before failing the delivery.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
