To support electronics standards creation/changes/release, to participate in research/innovation activities (TDP) on a case by case assignments.
- To communicate internally (mostly) and potentially externally on his/her activities in particular by developing and providing training.
- Located in Chennai , the HW Expertise Engineer insures his/her missions to support technically all HW electronics projects on a case by case in other VALEO sites across all BGs and WW.
- Projects Support , HW technical expertise
- Participates in problem solving for projects and is involved on a case by case for technical crisis resolutions.
- On job training and coaching for local HW teams
- Coaching and mentoring experts/pre-experts
- Networking with experts, regular connects within Chennai
- Contribute to maintain the knowledge level required in HW by : technical surveys, competitors analysis, benchmark & reverse engineering, patent analysis, newspapers, attendance to congress & conferences.
- Establish and develop partnership with selected universities (select and coach trainees , apprentices etc...)
- Fulfill Valeo main objectives for : 5 S, department meetings
- Adopt CIP, QRQC, FMEA, LLC ... culture, tools and methods
- In regards to ISO 14001 & OHSAS certifications, sustain Valeo safety and environmental commitments in following safety QRQC, safety rules and equipment rules especially with electricity.
- Master degree (mandatory) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years experience in embedded electronics.
- Has already designed several complex projects up to serial production with high quantities.
- Technics : Hardware design methodology, Analog electronics, MCU, DSP, Image sensors, Communication bus, Automotive environnement, SMPS, MOSFET and Bipolars, etc …
- HW Electronics tools : Simulation (PSPICE or else) and Scientific or formal calculations (MathCAD or else),
- Communication : The position requires high exchange and communication with the product groups. Environment is international (China, France, Japan, US, Belgium, Spain, Germany, … ) and requires to be able to document and present the work results in a very attractive manner.
