The Platform Validation Engineer role at Valeo involves designing, integrating, and validating product components to ensure they meet customer expectations and perform well compared to competitive setups. Responsibilities include designing and validating theoretical test processes, collaborating with the simulation team, analyzing physical data, conducting simulations and validations, managing tests related to thermal systems and compressors, developing and adapting new technologies, supporting new methodologies, supporting technical architecture, participating in design reviews, reviewing requirements and specifications, and communicating with stakeholders. This role combines aspects of data analysis and standard creation.
Must have:

We are looking for a Platform Validation Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating product components to ensure they meet customer expectations and perform well compared to competitive setups. The role involves theoretical validation, test specification development, and creating new standards, especially for thermal systems and compressors. Strong analytical skills, testing experience, and proficiency in English are essential. Role combines aspects of data analysis and standard creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Robust design and validation of theoretical test processes based on engineering standards

  • Collaborate with the simulation team to create new standards and test specifications.

  • Conduct proper analysis of physical data and provide insights for standard development.

  • Conduct and support simulations and validation

  • Manage and analyse tests related to engineering disciplines, particularly focused on thermal systems and compressor testing

  • Develop and adapt new technologies related to thermal systems and compressors

  • Support development of new methodologies (including performance simulations with simulation team)

  • Support technical architecture and standard assignments

  • Participate in design reviews, both internal and with suppliers

  • Review internal and customer requirements and specifications

  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders

  • Report task progress and escalate potential risks


 

Ideal Profile:

  • University degree in a relevant field

  • 2-5 years of experience in testing, validation, and thermodynamics (compressors and thermal systems)

  • Strong understanding of standards, thermal systems, thermodynamics, and testing principles

  • Strong analytical skills for understanding specifications and designing validation processes

  • Ability to create and develop new standards

  • Testing experience (focus on compressors and thermal systems)

  • Proficiency in English (French or German is a plus)

  • Czech language on a communication level

  • Willingness to travel for business purposes


 

Nice to have:

  • Ability to extract information from descriptions and specifications

  • Effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams
