We need an Emerging Markets Sales lead to develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve financial targets in some of our emerging markets - Australia, Middle East, SE Asia, and others. In this role, you will collaborate with 3 of our key international Sales stakeholders in helping them generate new business and establish Pattern as a global company.
Key Responsibilities
Research and understand the prospective client’s business goals, objectives and challenges
Ability to communicate value propositions and recommendations effectively to the leadership within a prospective partner
Active involvement in the implementation of each new partner to ensure a quick and complete realization of revenue
Develop a culture of solution-based selling with a focus on value-based outcomes VS. feature/function
Ability to work autonomously chasing down new deals and setting your own initiatives
Deliver aggressive sales plans by segment and territory
Be an exemplary brand champion and work closely with marketing and product to maximize brand awareness and lead generation possibilities
Proactively coordinate with various stakeholders (domestically & internationally) to prioritize projects and communicate changes to those stakeholders
Comfortable using Salesforce and Strategic Selling Methodologies. – MEDDIC, Solution Selling and Challenger Sale Methodologies
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
Job Requirements
Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Ability to navigate ambiguity and handle evolving situations and tasks
Solutions-oriented mindset
Excellent listening and negotiation skills
Ability to represent Pattern in a polished and professional manner to existing and potential clients
Strong presentation skills and customer service mentality
Excellent Organizational skills
Experience with Project Management a plus

What is my potential for career growth?
This is the first hire for a new role in a growing function of our organization. This person will be an individual contributor but as the team and global sales grow there are opportunities to move into team leadership roles.
What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
Our Emerging Markets Sales Lead will be expected to have a grasp of Pattern, our services and products and our target clients within 30 days. They should be establishing themselves as a contributor in our Emerging Markets within 60 days. Within 90 days, they should be working somewhat autonomously and generating revenue.
What is the team like?
You will work with the Sales leaders in some of our top emerging markets and be supervised by the VP of Global Sales and our VP of Sales. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. This position will be primarily on-site at our headquarters in Lehi.
