Nine is Australia’s largest locally owned media company. This role is for a strategic and experienced events leader to oversee end-to-end delivery of flagship and partner-led events across Nine Experiential. You will bridge commercial and creative aspects, leading a team of Event Producers. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring the event producer team, acting as a strategic lead for projects, guiding creative development and operational planning, collaborating on client priorities, providing creative direction, forecasting budgets, serving as a senior escalation point for client relationships, driving post-event evaluation, and leading complex on-site event delivery with a positive and solutions-focused approach.

Job Description

This is an amazing role for a strategic and experienced events leader to oversee the end-to-end delivery of flagship and partner-led events across Nine Experiential, bridging commercial and creative aspects while leading a talented team of Event Producers.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Event Producers, ensuring high-quality execution and growth.
  • Act as the strategic lead across assigned projects, guiding creative development and operational planning.
  • Bridge Account Manager and Event Producer roles, collaborating on client priorities and execution.
  • Provide creative direction and ideation support for event concepts and design.
  • Oversee and forecast budgets in collaboration with the Head of Food & Lifestyle Events.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point in client and partner relationships.
  • Drive post-event evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead complex on-site event delivery, including production builds and technical oversight.
  • Lead with a positive and solutions focused approach
