Overview

Join us as Finance Lead and drive financial strategy for Production vertical in Mauritius in collaboration with the regional CFO and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning, development of accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.
• Conduct financial performance analysis, identifying deviations from planned budgets, focus on Profit and Loss Statements (P/L) and Balance Sheets (BS).
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency in financial operations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring adherence to local and international financial standards.
• Gather and analyze financial results from the Mauritius operations to support the regional CFO in strategic decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analyses, providing actionable recommendations to enhance business performance.

Qualifications

• A strong accounting background is essential. Experience in controlling will be a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with tight deadlines and within international organizational structures.
• Attention to detail, responsiveness, and problem-solving and affinity for taking on challenges is a must.
• The candidate should be approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.
