Job Description

Take-Two Interactive seeks a collaborative FP&A Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to executive management and various departments. This critical role involves managing contract information in Oracle Planning, developing cash forecasting models, assisting in budgeting and financial planning, streamlining data processes, collaborating with other FP&A teams, partnering with accounting, and performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial forecasting and modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting, and excellent communication skills. The role requires managing processes, data mining, and working collaboratively across departments.

The Challenge

Take-Two Interactive is seeking a motivated, collaborative and experienced FP&A professional to join the Finance team. Take-Two’s FP&A team provides financial and analytical expertise and support to executive management and various labels and departments across the organization.

The Financial Planning Analyst is a critical role, as you will provide crucial support and insight through continuous collaboration with T2 Management & FP&A teams in order to provide timely financial reporting and analyses that will influence the monthly reforecast.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial forecasting and modeling skills, solid understanding of accounting rules, a great attitude, interest in the video game industry and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They must have proven ability to be resourceful and business-minded, be eager to dive into the data and systems and be very process oriented.

 

What You’ll Take On

  • Manages contract information received from business partners within Oracle Planning Royalty module to ensure completeness and accuracy of royalty forecast
  • Develop and maintains cash forecasting models and works toward increased automation and efficiencies
  • Assists in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning process
  • Streamlines the data collection and submission process for increased efficiencies in the monthly reforecast process
  • Collaborates with and assists other label FP&A teams across the organization in providing timely, accurate and insightful financial/business analyses
  • Partner with the accounting team to obtain the latest understanding of relevant financial matters and accounting rules
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or relevant field of study is required
  • 1-3 years corporate finance or other relevant experience
  • Must have excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) required
  • Advanced Excel modeling and strong PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Proficiency with an enterprise planning system (Oracle Planning, Anaplan)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven ability to manage processes
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be a strong team player who is able to work collaboratively with all departments and levels within the company
  • Strong sense of urgency & able to perform well under pressure
  • Flexible to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter, quick learner, proactive and highly motivated
  • Eager to “get in the weeds” and pitch in with data mining and validation

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $69,900 and $103,440 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
