What you will do:

Cineplex General Managers (GMs) are essential team members, providing an exceptional experience to every guest. The GM executes all company programs, supports operations, respects revenue and labor budgets, and achieves productivity goals while maintaining high standards of quality and service. It is important for the GM to have both a clear vision and the ability to maintain a culture of hospitality and good morale, while developing their team through coaching and regular feedback. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Plan, evaluate, and direct operations, merchandise, and financial aspects across multiple departments to maximize sales and profitability through the effective execution of company programs and standards.
• Interview, recruit, train, and coach site management, and actively plan for succession.
• Hold regular meetings with department managers to provide feedback, set goals, and evaluate performance.
• Apply appropriate disciplinary measures to manage performance and behavior.
• Manage budgets and operational plans related to sales and staffing to ensure profitability.
• Share best practices across departments to improve performance and guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and losses across all departments.
• Investigate and follow up on staff concerns.
• Know applicable health and safety regulations and ensure that any hazards are promptly identified and corrected.
• Achieve operational objectives for all Cineplex divisions through the implementation of action plans, productivity and quality measures, and service standards.

This role might be for you if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a manager in the restaurant or service industry, with demonstrated experience in staff supervision and field operations.
• You have excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational, management, and leadership skills to lead a team in a positive environment.
• You possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• You can manage multiple activities at the same time while supporting staff development and achieving financial goals.
• You are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
