ABOUT THE TEAM
- Our New game division’s mission is to create new hit hybrid casual music games that make interacting with music fun and a part of everyone's daily life.
- This division is responsible for coming up with ideas, developing new games through in-house game development or collaboration with partners, then publishing and continuously improving the marketability and product performance of the games until they meet the company benchmarks for transferring to operation phases.
YOUR MISSION
- As Head of the New Game Division – Puzzle Music Games, you will be the key driver in leading the ideation, development, and go-to-market of our next-generation music puzzle games. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping division goals, building and mentoring high-performing teams, and ensuring game concepts meet market and company success benchmarks. You will collaborate cross-functionally and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to bring engaging music game experiences to millions of users worldwide.
- You will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
+ Define the division's strategy, which should consider the market, company strategy, reusability and team capabilities in depth.
+ Identify and fill the needed capabilities and resources.
+ Keep the company updated with AI developments related to your scope
+ Apply AI to speed up production, liveops, and all the other operations in the team
+ Design the product strategy that promote re-usability across the games
+ Recruit, Lead, mentor, and develop the game development team
+ Promote and uphold Amanotes' culture in the team as well as other principles of the division
+ Apply scrum mindset and rituals in the division's daily work
+ Oversee and support the team in bringing projects from concept to release to ensure alignment with strategy and effective use of resources and budget.
+ Depending on the types of projects, the team you manage would be a combination of in-house production teams, outsourcing, and publishing studios.
+ Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the game development team, projects, and the division.
+ Working with other function departments and reviewing/defining the collaboration model that can fit well with the Division’s strategy and capabilities
+ Executing and continuously improving the collaboration model
+ Communicate with stakeholders, including other departments and external partners

QUALIFICATIONS
- Industry Expert: 7+ years in mobile game development, especially in casual or hybrid casual titles; strong track record in launching commercially successful puzzle or music games.
- AI proficiency: Understand and successfully deployed AI products/tools
- Proven Leader: 5+ years in game production leadership roles; known for building high-performing teams and leading with clarity, empathy, and vision.
- Strategic Thinker: Can go from high-level division planning to getting into the details of product iterations.
- Product-Market Fit Navigator: Comfortable with rapid prototyping and experimentation; knows how to test, pivot, and scale.
- Data-Driven Creator: Balances user insights and performance metrics with creative design thinking.
- Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast-paced growth.
- Great Communicator: Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about Music & Games: You have an authentic excitement for creating meaningful music-based experiences.
