Job Description

As an Integration Analyst, you will be responsible for consolidating system requirements, improving software architecture solutions, preparing artifacts for integrated test documentation, and analyzing bugs. You will also supervise product implementation and maintenance. Your daily tasks will include leading projects across Brazil, India, and the United States, developing and reviewing complex test plans for PTC software, executing test procedures, ensuring software quality, configuring test simulators, identifying and resolving system failures, generating test reports, estimating work efforts, mentoring colleagues, and automating processes within the Integration department.
Must Have:
  • Graduation in Engineering and related fields.
  • Previous experience in Railway Operations.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience in preparing system test plans.
  • Experience in creating test cases.
  • Knowledge of programming languages.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, Kanban and others.
  • Knowledge of computer networks.
  • Windows operating systems.

Who will you work with?

The Integration department is responsible for ensuring that the three main stages (listed below) of each project are completed with quality within the proposed timeframe. The open position covers the three characteristics of project stages under the responsibility of the Integration department, known as Integrated Tests.

These stages are:

  • Provision of requirements as input so that all engineering segments can plan and execute their functions, delivering their results according to the solution proposed to the client.
  • Guidance of each engineering segment in product development (PTC Solution).
  • Integrated Tests: Test all deliveries, ensuring that each part of the solution behaves according to the established requirements for each project.

How will you make a difference?

As part of the Integration department, the Integration Analyst will be responsible for consolidating system requirements based on information collected from clients and development teams. Improve and implement solutions in software architecture. Prepare the necessary artifacts for the correct documentation of integrated tests, with the objective of validating the proposed software architecture. Analyze bugs and defects to identify possible causes and guide development teams in the search for corrections. Supervise and support product implementation and maintenance.

How will your day-to-day be?

  • Act autonomously within the scope of Wabtec Brazil's Integration Segment (Juiz de Fora-MG).
  • Lead projects (test lifecycle) in Brazil, India, and the United States.
  • Develop and review complex test plans and scenarios for qualifying PTC (Positive Train Control) software and system components.
  • Execute and monitor PTC system test procedures.
  • Ensure the quality of software delivered by the Integration laboratory, anticipating risks and proposing improvements.
  • Configure, operate, and maintain existing simulators in the PTC Integration test laboratory.
  • Identify, analyze, and guide corrections for failures in the PTC system, recording occurrences in testing tools.
  • Generate detailed test reports and support leadership in decision-making.
  • Estimate work efforts and support team activity planning.
  • Support and guide less experienced colleagues, strengthening the culture of continuous learning.
  • Assist in the maintenance (predictive/corrective) of the Integration test laboratory.
  • Communicate defects found in tests to developers.
  • Automate processes to streamline work within the scope of the Integration department.
