Job Description

The Integration Verification Validation Qualification (IVVQ) Network and Satcom Manager will lead IVVQ activities for the renovation of MILSATCOM networks, focusing on integrating satellite networks for IP and/or legacy services. Responsibilities include defining IVV strategies, integration logic, and test plans, coordinating the IVVQ team, managing test resources, and ensuring project costs, deadlines, and client relationships are maintained. The role involves working on complex systems within a multidisciplinary context.
Must Have:
  • Mastery of IVVQ system engineering and managing a small engineering team.
  • Experience with IVVQ engineering tools: Orchestra suite (Vivaldi, Mozart), DOORS/Rectify, JIRA.
  • Strong technical skills in IP networks, telecommunication integration and validation, and equipment integration.
  • Proficiency in network architectures (WAN/LAN), network configuration, and military integration requirements.
  • Good practice in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Ability to work in integrated teams on complex systems and organize activities in a multidisciplinary context.
  • Defining IVV strategy and test levels.
  • Defining integration logic and establishing test strategy for functional demonstration.
  • Planning and coordinating demonstration stages.
  • Coordinating and leading the integration, verification, and validation team.
  • Organizing the implementation and optimization of test resources.
  • Defining indicators and reporting anomaly corrections.
  • Ensuring the required level during acceptances.

Your daily life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.

Attached to the Mobile Networks (MNW) sector, Systems Engineering Department (DIS) and its France Systems Validation (VSF) activity, you will participate in the system IVVQ team's activities as part of the renovation of MILSATCOM networks; particularly in the context of using satellite networks for part of the project related to the integration of stations offering IP and/or legacy network services.

You will join a SYRIV project IVVQ team implementing all IT and SATCOM components with the objective of integrating, validating, and qualifying the network solution with the end client (DGA/operational staff). You will be responsible for the IVVQ of a functional network scope up to its qualification.

You will contribute to respecting project costs and deadlines and participate in maintaining good client relations.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You master IVVQ system engineering as well as the management of a small team of engineers in this field.
  • You are experienced with IVVQ engineering tools such as the Orchestra suite (Vivaldi, Mozart), DOORS/Rectify, and JIRA.
  • You have strong technical skills in IP networks, integration and validation of telecommunication means, with experience in communications and equipment integration.
  • You master network architectures (WAN/LAN), network configuration, and have knowledge of integration requirements in a military environment, as well as good practice in Windows and Linux environments.
  • You excel in integrated teamwork on complex systems and know how to structure and organize your activity in a multidisciplinary context.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with clients and internally, and are recognized for your curiosity, rigor, and ability to take initiatives.

YOUR MISSIONS:

To prepare the delivery of a client-satisfying solution, as the Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) manager, you are responsible for the project's tests; In coordination with the project manager and the System Engineering Manager:

  • You define the IVV strategy for the solution based on operational scenarios/use cases as well as the test levels to be implemented,
  • You define the integration logic according to the solution's architecture and establish the test strategy in a functional demonstration approach,
  • You plan and coordinate the different demonstration stages as part of internal and external communication actions,
  • You coordinate and lead the team in charge of integration, verification, and validation activities,
  • You organize the work for the implementation and optimization of test resources,
  • You define indicators and ensure reporting of anomaly corrections,
  • You guarantee the required level during acceptances.

You have the opportunity to strengthen the MNW/DIS/VSF competence center for the benefit of two France Systems already operationally deployed.

You will thus have the opportunity to participate in the support of deployed versions, in the development of current versions, in their qualification with the end client until their operational deployment, allowing you to gain excellent visibility over a long period for each notified System version (between one and a half to two years per version)...
