Autodesk Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is seeking a motivated and curious WebSDK Engineer Intern to help expand Autodesk's WebSDK, a critical component that standardizes how web applications integrate with our Identity services. This SDK is widely used internally and is evolving to support Autodesk's growing 3rd-party developer ecosystem, enabling seamless and secure integrations at scale. The mission is to build a reliable and scalable SDK with a developer-first approach, delivering a seamless integration experience. The intern will work alongside senior engineers to design, build, and ship features, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale engineering practices.
Must have:
  • Collaborate on designing, building, and enhancing Autodesk's Identity WebSDK.
  • Develop and maintain developer-friendly components for the Identity platform.
  • Implement features supporting 3rd party developer use cases.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, logging, and reliability improvements.
  • Translate requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related.
  • Graduating in 2026 or 2027.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Webpack, Babel, NPM.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web application integration.
  • Curiosity for frontend development and SDK design.
  • Available for a 6-month full-time internship from Jan-Jun 2026.
Good to have:
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright) or automation tools.
  • Familiarity with basic authentication flows.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring for web applications.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.

This SDK is widely used internally and is evolving to support Autodesk's growing 3rd-party developer ecosystem, enabling seamless and secure integrations at scale.

Our mission is to take a developer-first approach, building a reliable and scalable SDK that delivers a seamless integration experience for both teams and 3rd-party developers. As an intern, you will work alongside senior engineers and architects to design, build, and ship features that enhance the SDK's reliability and developer experience, while gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale engineering practices that power millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with an agile team to design, build, and enhance Autodesk's Identity WebSDK
  • Develop and maintain reliable, developer-friendly components that integrate seamlessly with Autodesk's Identity platform
  • Work with senior engineers to design and implement features that support 3rd party developer use cases
  • Assist with troubleshooting, logging, and reliability improvements to ensure the SDK meets enterprise-scale standards
  • Translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable code with guidance from experienced mentors

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2026 or 2027
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and a willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM
  • Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them with web applications.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for frontend development and SDK design
  • Internship period: January - June 2026, 6 months full-time only

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright) or automation tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with basic authentication flows is a plus
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring for web applications
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
