MiQ, a programmatic media partner, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support. The role involves resolving hardware, software, and network issues, offering support via email, Slack, and in-person, ensuring conference room solutions are functional, and assisting with onboarding new hires. The IT Support Engineer will maintain network infrastructure, manage user accounts, and contribute to IT projects. The role requires an onsite presence 3 days a week in London.
Must have:
  • 2 years onsite experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM solutions like Jumpcloud.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Basic networking skills and troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of MacOS and Windows.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Okta.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Experience with AV and conference room technology.

We are looking for an IT support professional who can assist our UK based Senior Systems Engineer with temporary cover during our busier times and throughout vacations periods.

This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite 3 days per week at our London office, located at High Holborn House, 5th Floor, 52-54 High Holborn, London WC1V 6RL.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for our MiQ users
  • Monitor and respond quickly & effectively to a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues faced by end users.
  • Offer timely and effective technical support through multiple channels, including email, Slack, ticketing desk, and in-person assistance. 
  • Ensuring conference room solutions are fully functional and resolving any issues that arise 
  • Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems in accordance with best practices 
  • Assisting with onboarding new hires, including orientations if required
  • Hardware setup and decommissioning via Jumpcloud MDM and other applications 
  • User account setup and decommissioning via Google Workspace and Bettercloud 
  • Maintaining Network Infrastructure and resolving issues 
  • Proactively monitor and maintain any associated systems including asset management.
  • Contribute, and eventually lead, special projects within IT teams
  •  Any other tasks as required by IT Team Lead

Required experience:

  • Minimum experience of 2 years working in a similar role onsite
  • Strong working knowledge of MDM solutions (i.e. JAMF, Jumpcloud)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Slack
  • Experience working with Okta and Jira are beneficial
  • Basic networking skills and awareness of troubleshooting issues (WiFi, LAN)
  • Strong working knowledge of MacOS and Windows technologies
  • Experience with AV and conference room technology (Logitech would be an advantage
