Job Description

As our new Local IT Technician (f/m/d) at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, you are responsible for delivering support for the local site employees. You have a passion for simplifying things and support us in the continuous optimization of IT-supported processes.

What you will do: 

  • Offer on-site and remote support to end users within the local responsibility
  • Incidents and requests management
  • Manage local infrastructure (servers and network) 
  • Ensure approved security best practices and policies are being applied
  • Provisioning and maintaining the employees work environment
  • Interact with external vendors regarding support requests
  • Provides support for events and meetings
  • Support employees during equipment moves
  • Maintain the IT asset inventory
  • Build and update documentation
  • Strive to continually improve IT policies and processes

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Relevant education in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support to end users (Workstations, Laptops, Smartphones)
  • Expertise in PC and laptop support and latest hardware news
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good knowledge of networking, cabling
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
  • Great sense of customer service
  • Good listening, communication, and organizational skills
