The Opportunity

Experience: 6+ months of content writing experience, preferably in entertainment or media

Role: Contract

We are seeking a dedicated Long Form Content Writer to produce detailed, engaging articles on Hollywood and entertainment. This role involves crafting long-form pieces (2000 to 5000 words), with a focus on trends, insights, and deep dives into film, television, and the entertainment industry. The writer will contribute 1 to 2 articles daily.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and write 1-2 in-depth articles daily, ranging from 2000 to 5000 words, on topics in Hollywood and entertainment.
Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and depth in articles.
Cover a range of entertainment-related subjects, from industry trends to feature stories, film/TV analyses, and celebrity profiles.
Keep up-to-date with Hollywood news, current and upcoming releases, and streaming platform trends.
Pitch fresh, relevant, and creative story ideas that resonate with our readers.
Accept and apply editorial feedback effectively to enhance article quality.
Maintain clear communication with the editorial team and meet fixed deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in writing for entertainment or media, with proven success in creating engaging long-form content.
Strong research skills and attention to detail for producing accurate, well-rounded articles.
Time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet daily quotas.
Willingness to work fixed hours to maintain consistency and timely delivery.
