The Manager, Media Strategy and Planning will oversee LiveRamp's integration into the client's MarTech ecosystem, develop roadmaps and best practices, and assist with media campaign execution. Responsibilities include developing paid social platform strategies, planning, and buying guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses 7-10 years of media agency or large brand experience with hands-on LiveRamp experience, expertise in media planning, and a deep understanding of media's role in marketing narratives. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, creative and analytical thinking, and a passion for learning and marketing. The position is a 6-12 month contract, preferably local to Dallas, TX, with remote options available.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for Media Strategy and Planning to join their Marketing & Loyalty team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that captivates customers through compelling storytelling, top-rated rewards, and unique customer experiences.
 

  • 6-12+ month contract
  • Remote is OK but prefer candidates to be local to Dallas, TX area
  • $43 - $48 hourly

As a key member of the Global Media Strategy & Planning Team, you will provide subject matter expertise, lead media agency relationships, and apply innovative media tactics in the ever-evolving advertising marketplace. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our client's award-winning creative and storytelling reaches the right audiences, in the right format, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the integration of LiveRamp's cross-screen measurement and 1st party activation into our client's MarTech ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams and agencies.
  • Develop roadmaps, use cases, and best practices while supporting change management across the organization.
  • Assist with media campaign execution from early planning to launch and measurement/reporting.
  • Develop best practices for topics such as paid social platform strategy, planning, and buying guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 7-10 years of experience at a media agency or large brand.
  • Prior hands-on experience with LiveRamp on the brand or agency side.
  • Expertise in media planning, including strategy development, plan execution, and billing/invoicing.
  • A deep understanding of media's role in marketing narratives across the purchase journey.
  • Confidence, collaboration, and a team spirit.
  • Flawless attention to detail in media strategies, tactics, and budgets.
  • Creative and analytical thinking.
  • A passion for learning and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree.
  • Experience in leading process changes and change management within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience across various media channels including Linear, CTV, FEP, OTT, OLV, Social, Audio, Outdoor, Print, and more.
  • Ability to manage complex media plans across multiple business lines.
