AriensCo is seeking a driven and passionate Manufacturing Leader to oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring smooth production that meets customer expectations and company goals. This role involves coaching and developing the team, promoting a strong safety culture, and upholding quality standards. The leader will drive lean manufacturing initiatives for operational excellence at the Fayetteville, TN facility. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, scheduling, staffing, training, troubleshooting, motivating team members, coordinating departmental activities to meet schedules, improving equipment effectiveness, achieving Takt time, reducing lead time, and fostering teamwork. The leader will also participate in lean manufacturing activities and perform special assignments.
Must have:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience with leadership skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and people development skills
  • Working knowledge of Lean tools (6S, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Prior manufacturing environment experience

Job Description:

We’re looking for a driven and passionate Manufacturing Leader to take charge of daily operations within the department—ensuring smooth, continuous production that meets customer expectations and aligns with our plant and company goals.

This leader will play a key role in coaching and developing the team, promoting a strong safety culture, and upholding quality standards. They’ll also lead lean manufacturing initiatives to drive best-in-class performance and operational excellence across the facility at or Fayetteville, TN location.

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Responsible for daily operations on the production floor, including scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure that all operations are in full compliance and meet or exceed safety guidelines

  • Motivate and lead team members: provide coaching and development opportunities; monitor success through documented periodic work performance evaluations and enact corrective action, as required

  • Coordinate departmental activities to meet manufacturing schedules, and take positive action to increase overall equipment effectiveness, achieve Takt time, and reduce lead time

  • Role model and encourage teamwork: work with inter- and intra-departmental staff to improve productivity and quality standards in order to meet customer requirements

  • Participate in various lean manufacturing activities to improve products, reduce waste, or learn new skills or operations

  • Perform special assignments and/or duties as required

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience with demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with people, projects and issues 

  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of people

  • Working knowledge of Lean tools (6S, Kaizen, etc.)

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
